After creating somewhat of a tribal border for a client's website, I decided to make a tutorial for it. The tutorial is for any degree Photoshop user. I hope you enjoy it!

First create a new layer and then create a horizontal eclipse, similar to below.


After creating that eclipse, use the circle outline to select an area like below.


You should have something that looks like this, similar to a boomerang.


Now you want to duplicate that layer and go to Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical. Then move the new layer so it forms something like this.


From here you can do it one layer at a time to create a larger border, or you can select the two layers and duplicate/move them to get something like below.


Here are some other things I made using this same method, the potential in this method is undiscovered.
