Ryu Signature - Part 2 of 3

Sunday Aug 31, 2008

Outcome:

Step 1

Make yet another applied image. Now this time, go to Filter > Stylize > Extrude. Use a fairly small size and erase the bulk of this layer, leaving it only visible around the c4d section of the signature. Now set this layer to Lighten and leave the opacity at 100%.

Step 1

Repeat step 11, but this time use Filter > Brush Strokes > Spatter instead. Same blending mode and opacity. Again, leave it only visible around the C4D section of the signature.

Step 1

Create yet another applied image and apply the Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple Filter. Use fairly high settings and set this layer to Lighten at 100%. Erase around the render so it does not get that distorted.

Step 1

Add the following Color Balance Adjustment Layer on Normal blending mode at 50% opacity.

Step 5

Make an applied image again. Now go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur and select 2-3px. Now Move this layer 2-3 nudges down and right. Now set this layer’s Blending Mode to Lighten and leave the opacity at 100% opacity.

Step 5

Create another applied image and then go to Filter > Liquify and make it liquified with the flow of your signature. Now set this layer to 10% opacity and to Lighten.

Step 5

Now make an applied image and set it to multiply. This should make your signature a good bit darker.

Step 5

Now add some more c4d renders that support the flow of your signature.

Step 5

Now create another applied image and gaussian blur it. Set this layer to Lighten. Erase around the face of your render so that it does not look blurred.

Step 5

Repeat step 19, but this time set it to Soft Light so it makes your signature darker.
