I need help finding a tutorial on creating myspace layouts. (from scratch.) You always find a lot of people who make them, but they never want to tell you HOW they learned to! Help would be MUCH appreciated!

the thing is though, that most of the Myspace content is html, not graphic desigh, so don't know if this will help, but here you are

I just bought a Nikon D40 and I don't have the money to buy a fisheye lens because I am a poor college student..But I did get my hands on photoshop, which I have found a couple of ways to sort of make a fisheye effect, but none look real. Are there any programs or different ways around this to get that real fisheye effect?

Did you try Filter/Distort/Spherize or Filter/Liquify/Bloat Tool?
These are about the only standard Photoshop filters that can partially simulate a fisheye.

I need to duplicate a few things and my photoshop cs2 does not have certain fonts so how do I find and upload fonts into my photoshop?

Find the fonts (1001freefonts.com). Download them. On your computer..go to My Computer> Local Disc (C:)> Windows> Fonts. Put the font stuff in there after you extract. Then, restart Photoshop.

Some of the things I want to do is:

Make color pics black and white and mess with the greyscales.
Make people thinner or larger.
Enhance colors.
Auto correct a lot of pics with out having to do every one of them!
Make a pic B & W and leave some aspects color.
I know how to do some of these but want to make sure Im doing them the best and most convienent way.

Have you tried photoshoptv? I think that is a pretty good source for photoshop tips and how-to information.

How do you create a rasyter layer on Adobe Photoshop?

right-click on the layer and select Rasterize Layer

I use photoshop (7) quite frequently, but lately for some odd reason every time I use layer mask only black and white colors are available. When I go back to the standard pic my colors are available. And to make matters worse I can't inverse while I'm at layer mask. Any help please?

if you're working with a layer mask, the only colors you need are black and white. black reveals and white conceals the layer below it

That is, if there even IS a burlwood pattern…

You can create custom patterns in CS3, just do a google image search for “burlwood”, if you find one that shows the wood grain, save it to your computer, open it with photoshop, then select the whole image and save it as a pattern file.
